The country residence of the Marquis of San Giuliano was built in the early 1700s in the centre of a fertile hilly area planted with vines. The prospect of the main residence and its scenic staircase looked out towards the large internal courtyard which housed the rustic bodies of the old millstone building with the large barrel cellar, the farmer’s house and the stables.

The elegant residence contained the slow and patient life of the vineyard, a place of work for the Massari and vacation for the nobles who spent the hottest seasons of the year here.

Today the place offers the sweet rhythms of life of the past and the unchanged charm of one of the most authentic places in Sicily.
